Private cloud computing has the potential to eliminate enterprise silos while reducing costs through economies of scale and allows businesses to exploit the new economics, with faster deployment of new business applications and capacity for greater agility. Most important, private cloud computing offers a clear and logical pathway that preserves existing investment in applications and information, while each step delivers immediate value and builds a foundation for the next.
