I used to renew my car insurance from a car insurance company near my work place but recently I requested a quote for their car insurance coverage this year and I found out that they have increased their premiums. My wife just got laid off from work and we need to be extra careful in spending our income. I wish my home insurance could cover my car but it does not, so I need to get it separately. I heard that there are online car insurance companies that offers cheap car insurance coverage and you can get a quote for free. I never give our my personal information online or over the phone, I have been a victim of identity theft before and I do not want to take the risk again. Good thing, once you requested for a quote online they have a car insurance quote without personal info taken from you.
